The world is growing more and more dependent upon money, whilst simultaneously growing further into a gaping disparity in wealth, wages, and perhaps most importantly, opportunities. Opportunity used to be all you needed to create a living for yourself. Now it's akin to a lottery winning to have opportunity at all. Think of all the untapped potential wasted on lack of access to opportunity?
What if we could work toward removing the barrier that stands between everyone and opportunity? Money.
Money fuels the strangehold those in power keep on us, so if we took away its power, we take away their power. Who are ‘they?’ The mega rich, the oligarchs, the corporations and politicians that are practically one in the same anymore. Basically anyone Bernie Sanders is constantly railing against is propped up by a house of cards made out of Scrooge McDuck sized stacks of money. If you take away the power money has over people, those in power now have little to no applicable value-added offerings to the world. Their opportunity tends to be wasted on mindless accumulation and insatiable lust for profit. Innovation is stymied by greed. But if money were gone and the playing field were level, opportunity would be available to anyone with the mindset or skillset to make magic happen. Innovation, invention, philosophy, art - things that enrich society and move us forward in sociological evolution would all become more readily realized.
If this is starting to sound like a utopian future you'd like to see happen, then maybe you want to become part of making it a reality. I have a plan for a way to utilize today's technology to the advantage of all, rather than a lucky few. It will take grass-roots open-source cooperation, and a lot of time and patience that I know most of us are already scraping the barrel for. But it's doable.
I'm calling it Integrity Coin for now, but it's not crypto. (EDIT: I'v decided to go with “Com-Mercy” instead) It's paying kindnesses forward. If you want to be a part of this, stay tuned and get in touch.
