While I'm a musician currently touting his sci-fi dystopia concept album, I'm also a YouTube host of a discussion channel called Kitchen Sink Microscopy. As such, I'm constantly brainstorming ways of improving the human condition. I would like to use this platform as a networking hub to spread word about the ideas and open them all up for discussion and open-source development.
One example is currently under a working title of “Com-Mercy,” a non-currency currency, in a manner of speaking. But it is not a cryptocurrency at all; rather a method of rewarding positive social behavior in a way that can utilize technology to help vet your character to a complete stranger. With a system built on quantifying kindness and honesty, I envision a world where this Com-Mercy begins to remove the need for money as a primary driver for economy, based on the premise that we are, in fact, living in a post-scarcity world, save for the artificial scarcity created by corporations and governments to drive “economic growth” that benefits only a small fraction of the world.
