Genetic Flaw announces the release of "re-Render me," a concept album based on his high school friend that committed suicide at the age of 19. Robotic in nature, this album was a promise to him to someday tell a story through music in his honor. The album is a heavy industrial-thrash hybrid with progressive elements throughout. The singles Maschinenstürmer and What Do I Have to Do? (a cover of Stabbing Westward) and Null precede the current single One Last Kiss.
Genetic Flaw describes the album as being allegorical, to represent the feeling of emotional numbness as becoming cyborg-like, with the main character being inwardly emotional, but struggling to show that outwardly, and wanting to change to become what he thinks others would perceive as “better.” Genetic Flaw hopes this will help others dealing with symptoms of depression that don’t fit the classical outward signs of sadness, while paying homage to his friend.
Multiple versions of the album are available as of July 29th, 2025 (exactly 25 years after the album's muse committed suicide). An exclusive vinyl will be offered with a condensed track listing and a comic book hand-drawn by Genetic Flaw as an accompaniment to the auditory experience of the story. Sales of this vinyl will be limited to 1000 copies. Digital and CD release of the full 19-track version of the album occurs the same day.
