This song was originally an ambient instrumental track. I punched it up with a little rhythm section before ultimately deciding to record vocals for it. Inspired by a roommate I had a crush on, but she ended up deciding to be with Erik, it was a track that carried a lot of emotion. It happens to be Erik's favorite song that I've written, actually. The vocals were done in one take, without first writing them down or anything. Total stream of consciousness.
